Mark, the inspector from EVO accommodated our tight schedule. He was right on time and wanted to do the roof and home extremities first. He went to his car and I expected him to pull out a ladder but instead pulled out a drone that he used to capture detailed pictures of the entire roof and outside of the home. He did a thorough job inside , noting any issues with the home. He provided a detailed report very quickly after the inspection. There were a few minor issues with the home and I emailed him asking him what order I should address them in. He sent me a detailed letter with the items in priority order which I then sent to my lawyer who used it to get the existing homeowner to make most of these changes. If Mark hadn't responded with such a concise letter that I could use, I would have been stuck making these changes myself. Great guy, great inspector and very responsive. We used Marc as a recommendation from our realtor for a house we were buying and had a great experience. When we got to the house for inspection, Marc was already there setting up and starting the inspection of the outside areas. He took the time to explain everything he came across as we walked through the inspection. He was very thorough and professional and made sure we understood all of the issues and gave us an idea of which issues were more urgent. Marc’s report was very comprehensive and we find ourselves looking back at it often now that we have purchased the home. Marc was fantastic to use and I would recommend them to anyone purchasing or selling a home. He was extremely responsive to me. He took the time to walk the home with us once his inspection was done to talk us through some issues he found and what he would suggest on how to remedy the issues. He even followed up several days later checking in to make sure we had no questions. He was polite, professional, fast and thorough with his inspection. I just got my home inspection done by Marc Tucci. He was a complete professional and had come highly recommended by a friend from my job. He definitely met my expectations and beyond. He educated me on the aspects of the inspection. He informed me of different levels of urgency of repairs .He assured me that I could comfortably navigate the home on my own, with simple instructions of what to expect as a first time home buyer. I have been housesitting for my parents and in doing so noticed a major problem with rainwater coming into the first level. Upon talking to my best friend about it one day i was referred to Marc Tucci with evo home inspections. Even though i did not need a full home inspection for buying or selling a house i still was advised to use his services and im so glad i did. Marc was extremely professional and friendly. He came right on time and got right into checking things. He explained all of his findings to me in a way that was easy to understand and answered all of my questions. He used a tool to detect moisture in my walls and showed me exactly what parts were wet even though i didn't notice it by sight. It turned out not only was there water coming in from the ground outside but also my parents ceilings were wet close to where the deck is built. Then he checked our deck and explained in great detail how much of a danger it currently is. He showed and explained to me exactly how a deck is supposed to be built and pointed at my neighbors as examples. Then showed me all the things wrong with my parents deck. It turns out whoever built this deck way back when did a very lazy and horrible job and completely built it incorrectly. Not only is it shifting into a slanted position and is possible to collapse soon but there is a major part missing from the deck that brings any rainwater away from the deck instead of seeping into the walls of the house. It is very likely the deck is at the root of my parents problem among other issues with the concrete in the backyard that he pointed out to me. Im so grateful i listened to my friend and called marc and so are my parents. My 80 year old grandma sits on that deck all the time and if it wasnt for marc we wouldn't have even known the severity of its condition. Now no one will be using the deck, we will be either taking it down completely or getting it rebuilt, sealing the backyard border of the house wall and sealing all concrete cracks that are letting rainwater in. He also pointed out areas on the inside border of the wall that are open and exposing the main frame of the house that is at the root of the house's foundation. I forgot what this is called but he showed me where the drywall is gone and exposing that beam. If we dont seal it right away and seal the outside border that beam will continue to get wet, mold, and eventually start to rot putting the whole foundation of our house in jeopardy. Theres so much we have to do now and although it's going to be alot of work im so grateful to marc for finding and explaining all of these problems to me. He was extremely thorough in his inspections and alerted us to all potential dangers. If you are looking for a home inspector or even just someone to check out an issue you're having in your home that you're unsure of what it is, do not hesitate and call marc right away. My wife and I used Evo Home Inspections, LLC to inspect the house we are buying. And the service they provided was excellent. We met Marc at the house and he was extremely helpful as we walked through the whole property. He was very informative while pointing out both minor and major issues. He also gave great advice on how to fix these issues. Even our realtor said that he was preforming a very detailed inspection. We had the Inspection, the oil tank sweep and the radon test performed. We had a very detailed inspection report within a day which I had printed out at Staples so that way after we got the house, I could check off all the repairs and upgrades that he suggested. I was in the process of purchasing my first home which was a multi-family unit. My agent recommended Marc and he did an amazing job. Not only was he punctual, he was also super patient in answering all of my questions in details. I was able to get every bits of details I needed and even the ones that were not as critical but recommended. Marc @ Evo Home Inspections was incredible with his service at my client's home inspection! From my first correspondence he was very responsive and ready to get the job done. He was very easy to communicate with and consistently available when finding a time to hold our inspection. He was able to get to the home before I arrived and already had the exterior inspection pretty much done with pictures from every angle.My buyer came along to see how everything was, and he was very patient and answered all of their questions and pointed out some of the things in the report that he would list so that she knew what was coming, definitely helped put her at ease and feel more comfortable with making such a big purchase! He was able to get the sewer scope done and provide a full video to my clients along with a tank sweep report! He was very meticulous with the internals and pointed out very crucial electrical details that would have otherwise caused major issues during appraisal. Thanks to Marc, we were able to get everything resolved and ready in time for the appraisal.His professionalism towards both me and my clients purchasing the home was A+ and I could not have asked for anything more - but then he blows us away gets the results back in record time! The report was very thorough and had multiple clear pictures that helped my client understand what was mentioned in the report.I can't sing enough praises for Marc and his company but if you are looking for a home inspection, call immediately! If you're a first time home buyer like me and my wife, you already should have a snapshot idea of what kinda nightmare it is out there to finally get your hands on your first house. But the very last thing you want to find out is that your perfect dream home has problems with it. A lot of times, these homes are bought by someone who adds a new layer of paint or freshens up the interior then sells the house quickly for profit. This is where the home inspection comes into play.I was recommended to Evo Home Inspections from a friend and so I reached out to them when me and my wife were under contract with our house and set up a date for inspection within our closing parameters. This process was seamless and we were able to schedule something that worked for everyone. Our house seemed a decent distance from their office but that wasn't a problem.Our inspector was named Marc who was very courteous and professional. He explained to me everything that he was doing and answered all my questions, which we both had a ton of.We lucked out and had no problems with the house which was a major relief.
